    Recipes
for toddlers 18 months are unquestionably an indispensable and vital component
in your quest to provide the best care and nutrition for your infants’ health
    and wellness.

    This
stage of your baby’s development is important, so you must find and discover
the various food recipe options you have that will provide them with the proper
level of nourishment and sustenance they require.

    There
are a few guidelines to follow when making weaning baby food, which we will go
over shortly. Aside from that, all you need are some food portioners and a
blender to blend and divide the food into portions!

    The
major benefits of making weaning baby food in your own private kitchen are that
you can use fresh ingredients and have complete control over what foods your
    baby eats.

    Many
Baby weaning recipes for toddlers 18 months include plenty of fruits and vegetables,
as well as protein from chicken, fish, or lentils.

    The
first option is to mix baby rice with your baby’s regular baby milk or breast
    milk.

    It
is easily digestible and contains a high concentration of nutrients and
vitamins. If this is your first time, thin out the mixture to make it easier
    for your baby to digest.

    Once
your baby is comfortable with baby rice, begin experimenting with different
flavors by adding a pureed fruit or vegetable to the rice.

    You
may notice that your baby develops preferences for certain flavors. This is a
fun part of weaning because your baby is using his tastebuds for the first time
and may be surprised by what you’re giving him!

    To
give your baby the best possible start in life, try to buy organic food. It may
cost a little more, but it is well worth it to provide your children with a
healthy and nutritious start in life!

    At
GetMe Treated, we recommend limiting your baby’s sugar intake by feeding them
one or fewer sweet foods per day.

    If
your or your partner’s family has a history of allergies, asthma, or eczema,
try to avoid milk products (cow’s milk, cheeses, and yogurts), any fish,
including shellfish, citrus fruit, and their juices, or eggs until your baby is
    about eight months old.

    If
your family has peanut or sesame seed allergies, we recommend avoiding them
until your child is three years old.

    To
reduce your risk of coeliac disease, you should also avoid gluten-containing
foods such as wheat, oats, and rye.

    This
includes any pieces of bread, pasta, or cereals made with these ingredients up
to the age of eight months.

    Please
do not use salt or sugar in your baby’s food or any of the baby-weaning recipes
    on this website.

    It
is ineffective and may cause damage to your baby’s kidneys. For the time being,
there is plenty of natural salt in the food.

Make Your Own recipes for toddlers 18 months
    Using Three Simple Steps

    Making
your own baby food is not only cheaper, but it is also healthier for your baby
and more convenient than you might think. It does, however, necessitate three
    crucial steps:

    • Planning/Preparation
    • Determination
    • Follow-Through

    Planning

    You
can use a steamer or steamer insert as part of some food preparation. To ensure
that we get the most nutritional value out of foods like broccoli, peas,
spinach, and carrots, I prefer to steam them.

    Boiling
can cause nutrients to leach into the water, which is frequently discarded
after the food has been prepared.

    If
you want to make your own baby food at home, you will need a blender or food
    processor.

    Using
this tool will not only provide you with the desired consistency, but it will
also reduce meal preparation time (as mashing foods can get quite a labor
    intensive).

    Storage
containers are also required to make purees easy to feed and transportable for
    travel.

    Consider
making bulk purees of certain foods, freezing them in ice cube trays, and then
transferring the “food cubes” into plastic food bags for storage.

    Determination

    As
a parent, if you believe that making your own baby food is important, you must
do everything possible to make it happen. Maintain an abundance of fresh fruits
    and vegetables in your home.

    Maintain
a grocery list on your refrigerator at all times so that you can easily add an
item to it once it is completed.

    You
can even make a chart with all of the fruit/vegetable combinations that you
want your baby to try, sort of like a menu.

    Allow
at least three days between introducing new foods to see if there are any
    allergic reactions.

    Follow-Through

    When
you think about it, you only have a 6โ€“8-month window where you can prepare your
    own baby food.

    Even
if you work outside the home, most “meal prep” can be done on
    weekends or vacation days.

    If
you have older children, get them involved in washing, peeling, and preparing
    some of the foods.

    Allow
your baby’s meal planning to spill over into other areas of your life. There is
no reason why the rest of your family should not eat more meals as well as fresh
    fruits and vegetables at home.

making excuses, buy the necessary tools, plan ahead of time, and make it
    happen.
