1. Reality Checks
Make it a “habit” to become self-aware. Some people set a timer on their watches so that they are reminded to think every hour “Right now, I am aware.
This is happening, and I am not my emotions, hunger, or annoyance with my boss during this tedious meeting.” I enjoy making use of doorways.
Try to remember “I am aware, I am moving from one room into another” every time you walk through a doorway.
